Synopsis

Today, the young and the old of the ummah are experiencing threats upon our religion, faith and values. The LBGT and DEI movement, liberalism, secularism, wokeism coupled with social media and now AI, has chipped away our sense of identity and confidence as Muslims. Furthermore, our education system has done nothing to enable a proper response to these morally charged issues.

We do not lack those of the highest academic achievements and economic progress. Yet the spiritual element is all but neglected. We remain confused and paralysed in the face of such challenges. Even madrasah students and graduate students of Islam are not immune to such onslaught. Why? Because this is not just about the learning of Qur'an Recitation, the usual learning of Aqidah and Islamic studies. Rather, this is also about having a proper Islamic Worldview.

This talk invites the Muslim to take stock of what is happening around them and realise that there is a need to re-align our perspective to be consistent with the Islamic Worldview.
